Terms of Use
1. Who we are
ScorecardStudy is an independent exam preparation platform operated as an independent sole trader. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) or Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). LEED is a trademark of the U.S. Green Building Council, used here only to describe the exam this platform prepares candidates for.
2. What the service is
The platform provides study material, practice questions, and mock exams for the LEED Green Associate v5 exam. A free tier gives access to one study module and sample questions. Paid access unlocks all modules, the full question bank, the mock exam, and the progress dashboard.
3. No guarantee of exam results
We work hard to keep every figure accurate against the published rating system, but studying here does not guarantee a pass. Exam content, format, and policies are set by GBCI and can change; always confirm current exam details in the official candidate handbook before booking. What we do stand behind is accuracy against the rating system itself, which is covered by the guarantee in section 5.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. One account is for one person; sharing paid access is not permitted.
5. Payment, access and refunds
Paid access is a single one-off payment processed through Stripe. It is not a subscription: nothing renews automatically and there is nothing to cancel. The payment grants 12 months of access from the date of purchase, after which access ends unless you choose to buy again.
The accuracy guarantee. Every threshold, point value and requirement on this platform is checked against the edition of the LEED v5 rating system named on the site. If you find a figure that is wrong against that edition, write to hello@scorecardstudy.com and quote the page and the figure. If we confirm it, you get a full refund of everything you paid and we correct the content. The guarantee covers accuracy against the source. It does not cover whether you pass, which nobody can promise.
Statutory refund rights are unaffected.
6. Founding access
A limited number of early accounts (the first 50) receive full access at no cost for 12 months, on the same terms as a paid account. Founding access is granted automatically at sign-up while places remain, and is not transferable.
We will ask founding users for honest feedback on the platform once they have used it. This is a request, not a condition: your access does not depend on providing feedback, and it will not be withdrawn if you choose not to. If you later post a public review anywhere, you should disclose that you received free access.
7. Intellectual property
All study content, questions, and explanations on this platform are original work and remain our property. You may use them for your own personal exam preparation only, not for redistribution, resale, or use in another product or course.
8. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, copy at scale, share paid content, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim arose.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be flagged on the site; continued use after a change means acceptance.

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute we cannot settle between us goes to the courts of Dubai. If you bought as a consumer while living somewhere else, nothing here removes any protection the mandatory consumer law of your own country gives you.
